From coconut fruit to Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
The one thing that also helped me get through my illness was drinking extra virgin coconut oil (EVCO) . Considered as the "healthiest oil on earth". My brand is "absolutely no heat" formulation -- meaning it is cold pressed. Extraction of the oil did not involve heating or boiling that could have altered its natural composition. I have been assured by my supplier that his brand was not refined, not bleached, not deodorized nor hydrogenated. There was no fermentation and strictly no chemical additives used. EVCO is touted to be of low fat and no cholesterol oil. I have been on evco since 2004 taking it thrice daily. So far so good.

Blogging to heal
I blog in between my daily chores. I cook, do the laundry, go to the wet market/grocery, run errands like pay utility bills. I also attend to the business permit and tax/revenue needs of my small business (which is on a annual basis only). I keep the house clean as well as dispose the garbage 3x a week. Gasp! and Sigh! My 'creative' moments I leisurely spend blogging. It helps me keep my down days up. Sometimes, I cry, though often I smile or laugh depending on the humor I stumble upon .
ACE Inhibitor
I have been taking ACE Inhibitors for my hypertension for the last 5 years. It has definitely helped me control my kidney problem as well. But I think the side effects have overwhelmed my system. That's too bad for me but taking this medication is the lesser evil I suppose. I have also recently started taking something for my hyperthyroid condition. Hopefully, this should stop my weight loss.
