Universe make my skin healthy again

When I got hypertensive in 2003 and started taking this HB meds, I noticed that whiteheads began growing on my face.. well, I did not exactly have a creamy, silk skin back then.. let's  say my  skin was just alright. So back to the whiteheads, I thought those tiny and pearly white mounds on my face were unsightly.  I should know I used to market dermatologist prepared and tested skin care products. Those products did miracles for my so-so skin making it  radiant,  supple and  young looking. The thing with facial skin is to to reduce pore size.. good skin means no obvious skin pores. And today at my age :-) I didn't expect whiteheads. Wrinkles, yes, but not these skin kind of imperfections. So what are e whiteheads? "Whiteheads are pimples that are filled with pus and this is what gives them their name. Like most acne, whiteheads are formed when excess oil from the sebaceous glands clogs up the pores or hair follicles on the skin. This sebum gets trapped along with ot

Want to be happy? Have True and Loyal Friends

My BFF sent this very inspiring msg through the email which I believe was forwarded as well to her.. Sixty plus and Going Strong (Translated from the original in Chinese) There are 1000-year old trees in the mountain, but not many 100 year-old people………… At the most, you live until 100 years old (only 1 in 100,000). If you live until 90, you only have 30 years …….. If you live until 80, you only have 20 years. Because you don’t have many years to live, and you can’t take along things when you go, you don’t have to be too thrifty……. Spend the money that should be spent, enjoy what should be enjoyed, donate what you are able to donate, but don’t leave all to your children or grandchildren, for you don’t want them to become parasites. Don’t worry about what will happen after you are gone, because when you return to dust, you will feel nothing about praises or criticisms. Don’t worry too much about your children for children will have their own destiny and find their own

To Be Temporarily Stationary

There's a lot of sense in temporarily not doing anything. This from  famous French writer Marie de Hennezel: When we're not perpetually in action, we have an internal openness to perceiving things that we don't normally possess. A simple example is when we're lying down, relaxing on the grass and just looking at the sky. We are in a state of non-action, and yet we suddenly perceive all sorts of things. We have a new capacity for marvel and contemplation. We see new things. We know that a whole part of our being is dormant when we're constantly in action. There is something very positive in non-action, because our senses are mobilized. We're aware of the sensory. We savor things more. Older people and those who are physically limited and accept their limitations still live well because they're open to a whole different domain. If you do five different things at once, as we often do in our active lives, we pass by so many things. Non-action is

Going Bananas

The smoother the banana looks the better? Think again.. According to studies made banana number 7 (below) is healthier to eat. Read why.. From a borrowed pic on the web "According to the Japanese Scientific Research, full ripe banana with dark patches on yellow skin produces a substance called TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor) which has the ability to combat abnormal cells. The darker patches it has, the higher will be its immunity enhancement quality. Hence, the riper the banana the better the anti-cancer quality. Yellow skin banana with dark spots on it is 8x more effective in enhancing the property of white blood cells than green skin version. Eating 1-2 banana/s a day increases immunity. I love ginger tea.

I have been taking ginger in a concoction much like tea. In the vernacular over here this is called "salabat". Someone told me that such 'salabat' can be good for my hypertensive condition. And so I began looking over the web to see what there is about ginger and true enough there were good enough things told about it that I was convinced to make it part of my everyday drinks. "Preliminary research indicates that nine compounds found in ginger may bind to human serotonin receptors which may influence gastrointestinal function. "Research conducted in vitro tests show that ginger extract can control the quantity of free radicals and the peroxidation of lipids. Thus it could possibly prevent or decrease the damage in the human body caused by free radicals. Possible preliminary studies involving the effect of ginger on nausea occurring with pregnancy may suggest that intake of ginger may cause belching after ingestion In a 2010 study, daily consumption
